nGAP functionality supports four types of users:

1. Government Buyers
2. Contracting Officers
3. Contract Primes
4. Contract Providers

Each user type employs nGAP in ways that reflect their unique requirements.

In the case of a Buyer, efforts will normally focus on the following activities:

• Locate an exact item, and one or more preferred vendors with contracts
• Plan and manage complex projects
• Finding vendor partners with minimal negotiation

Each of these activities decreases time and costs, thereby contributing to improved organizational results.
